This Privacy Policy describes how GZOO Digital LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use the ELIL platform at elil.net (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, company name, and password when you create an account.
  • Billing information: payment method details processed through Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Content: training materials, course content, documents, and other files you upload to the Service.
  • Communications: messages you send to us through support channels or contact forms.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, course completions, quiz scores, and interaction patterns.
  • Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
  • Cookies: session cookies for authentication and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Generate AI-powered course content, voiceovers, and assessments
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, notifications)
  • Provide customer support
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the platform
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. AI Processing

ELIL uses third-party AI providers — we do not train or operate our own AI models. When you use AI features (course generation, voiceover creation, image generation, quiz building), the course content and source materials you upload are sent to the following providers solely to produce the requested output:

  • Anthropic (Claude) — text generation for course outlines, lessons, and quizzes
  • Google (Gemini) — image generation for slide illustrations
  • ElevenLabs — text-to-speech voiceover generation
  • OpenAI — supplementary text generation (where enabled)

These providers process your content under their respective enterprise data policies and do not use your content to train their foundation models. Per Anthropic, Google, ElevenLabs, and OpenAI's API terms, prompts and outputs submitted via API are not used for model training by default.

Important: Personal data obtained from Google Sign-In (your name, email address, and profile picture, as described in Section 3a below) is never sent to any AI provider. AI processing applies only to the course materials you explicitly upload or generate. We recommend not uploading sensitive personal data, trade secrets, or protected health information (PHI) into AI generation features.

3a. Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use

ELIL's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

ELIL affirms that Google user data — and any data obtained from Google Workspace APIs — is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI and/or ML models. No data received from any Google API is provided to Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google Gemini, or any other AI/ML system or provider for training, fine-tuning, evaluation, or model improvement of any kind.

What we receive from Google. When you sign in with Google, we request only the openid, email, and profile OAuth scopes. We receive your name, email address, Google account ID, and profile picture URL. We do not request, access, or store any other Google user data — no Drive files, Gmail messages, Calendar events, Contacts, or any restricted scopes.

How we use it. Google user data obtained through Sign-In is used only to:

  • Create and authenticate your ELIL account
  • Display your name and profile picture inside the application
  • Send transactional, account-related email to your address

What we do not do. We do not, and will not:

  • Use Google user data to develop, train, fine-tune, or improve generalized or personalized AI/ML models
  • Send Google user data to Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google Gemini, or any other third-party AI provider
  • Sell or transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, marketing, credit-worthiness assessment, or any other secondary purpose
  • Allow humans to read Google user data, except (i) with your explicit consent for a specific support request, (ii) where required for security investigations or legal compliance, or (iii) where the data has been de-identified and aggregated

You can revoke ELIL's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers (your account data): Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and Bunny CDN (content delivery).
  • Service providers (your uploaded course content only): Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Google Gemini for AI processing of materials you submit through generation features. Google Sign-In data (name, email, profile picture) is excluded from these transfers — see Section 3a.
  • Your organization: Admins within your tenant can view learner progress, completion data, and assessment scores.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records). Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • AES-256 encryption at rest
  • TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
  • Multi-tenant data isolation at the database level
  • Role-based access controls
  • Audit logging of all administrative actions
  • Regular security assessments

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Delete your personal data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based

8. International Transfers

Your data is processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
